This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Nowadays, headphones are a vital part of education. Imagine attempting to listen to vital information only to have that cancelled out by 30 other voices. The children in my classroom not only have to listen to math instructions when working on their online math programs but also to sentences they have to repeat in their English language lessons which are all different based on their English levels.

Let's give these kiddos a chance to hear clearly what is being asked of them.

It's imperative that we support our students academically as well as emotionally. Having their own headsets allows for a calm environment which allows for a smooth transition when they move to another classroom. And then, I get 30 more first-graders and start all over!
