Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In this age of new technology my students have been using old school headphones given to the class from the library. We have to progress monitor each week in reading. Some of the headphones work, however most of them don't. So I have to let them do other things and change them around so that everyone gets to use the ones that work.

We have to talk loudly into the headphones.

All of this is very distracting and takes away from the testing mode. For the very important state testing it took us longer to finish because of this problem. I want to see them engaged and learning without stress. They deserve the best that I can give them! A set of new classroom headphones would be so appreciated.
