Headphones are essential every day in our classroom. Without working headphones, it is extremely difficult for my students to concentrate and complete their assigned online activities. Because headphones do not last forever, there is a constant need for new headphones. Students also cannot share headphones as we have in previous school years. While it would be ideal for each student to bring their own headphones and for headphones to last all school year, neither of those usually happens. My students need these headphones to be successful. Headphones are great to have to continue supporting my students academically!
I work at a Title I school where most students live in poverty and have free or reduced lunch.
Half of my students' headphones have broken, and parents cannot afford new ones.
These headphones will allow my students to complete both state testing and weekly assignments. Weekly assignments include our school curriculum including iReady for math and Lexia for English.
