My Students
Our Norfolk, Virginia pre-k students are amazing and resilient! We are located in a dedicated military town. All students have risk factors that qualify them for our program. I see the sparkle in their eyes when they login into the computer. Distance teaching is challenging, but with hands-on materials, we can help them thrive!
My Project
Teaching children to write various types of strokes, lines, letters, and words in pre-kindergarten during virtual learning can be challenging. By giving our students whiteboard books, dry erase markers, and erasers, we can make writing fun!
There's something magical about dry erase materials.
Children love writing and erasing so easily. These books have a variety of dotted lines that students can trace in a way that is not boring. Children can write and erase again and again. Having a variety of writing materials in pre-kindergarten helps children to have choices when making writing attempts. In pre-k, we can write!
