Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are phenomenal. In the beginning of school, a lot of the students were unable to write, recognize the alphabet, they couldn't spell their name and could not write any numbers. I am a first time Kindergarten teacher and we have had fun learning together.

These materials will be used to help the students write while I am writing.

The caddies are for the students at the table and to prevent them from going to their supply tote. This way they have access to the supplies they need. The boards are easier than paper for this age group, especially with the early stages of writing. The boards are fun and easy to clean off and put away.

The board and erasers are also great for the sight words that we are learning. The students will write the word on the board and hold the board up so that I can confirm when the word is correct or needs to make corrections.
