Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are special because they have a desire to learn and they want to be the best. They love to explore and learn new things. My students are motivated and rise to any academic challenge presented to them. They are bubbly, energetic, and highly inquisitive.
My students are mostly English language learners.
They take pride in their culture, community, and classroom. They come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, but they don´t let that affect their willingness to learn.
Our school is family oriented. We genuinely care for one another. We work together with our community to provide the best possible education for each student.
My Project
An iPad will make a huge differences in the classroom. It would allow me to create and track assignments that allow the students to explore beyond the classroom walls. I would be able to teach multiple skills, share interactive presentations, and differentiate instruction for my students.
An iPad will open up a wealth of information and allow students to obtain new skills and explore environments.
The students will be able to go on virtual fieldtrips using an iPad which will create rich and immersive learning experiences that will build twenty first century skills.
Finally, an iPad would be a game changer for my students. It would push their learning beyond limits and it would help change their learning environment and experiences tremendously.
