More than half of my students are non-English speakers. They are learning English through chatting with their friends and listening in class. Their parents are also non-English speakers. So, their English exposure is very limited in class and at home.
They struggle with recognizing the sounds and have difficulties differentiating the sounds.
With the use of iPads, students can take turns to practice letter sound recognition.
By providing students with iPads with educational applications on phonics instruction, I can create a dynamic and interactive learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles and abilities.
