My students are bright and love to learn! They especially love reading. They often ask if it is time to have silent reading time. They love to dive into a good book.
My students are eager to share what they've learned with others as well.
They like to talk about different books they've read, and they like to share stories they've written.
My Project
Having more books for my students to enjoy will open up even more opportunities to explore the world around them. It will also set a solid foundation for reading that will serve them their whole lives.
It is so important for children to learn to love reading from a young age.
These books will help to create and enhance that love.
I specifically chose some graphic novels because the students find so much enjoyment in them. I also love graphic novels because it gives all students a chance to read and enjoy a story even if they aren't the strongest reader.
