Help me give my students materials to allow them to effectively show work on their whiteboards. Every student likes to present their projects but lack the finances to produce them, projects promote positive social skills and teamwork.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I will be teaching math to 6th grade ELL's and Special Ed students that will need to demonstrate and learn together no matter their diverse abilities. I want to provide them with dry erase markers and erasers for their whiteboards which has been successful in past for communication and aide in learning new strategies.
When presenting their projects the bright colors on posterboard gives them pride in showcasing their abilities.
I want to continue to provide them with tools that will effectively promote support positive social skills while teamworking on their projects.
At this school more than 50% of students are Black , Latino and/or Native American and more than 50% come from low- income households.
