This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In my classroom we have a diversity of cultures and different types of economic backgrounds. I want to inspire my students to be thinkers, investigators, and get curious about what is going to happen next. I want them to never stop reaching for their goals and always keep moving forward.
In my school we are a team and we teach students to fly high, even though sometimes they struggle to meet their goals.
But if they keep flying high, they'll be successful in the long run.
My Project
I need a document camera. The document camera will allow me to project my lessons for everyone to see in the class. The document camera can help me model how to write in a journal properly. I could also use the document camera for shared writing. When we share writing, everyone gets to participate in the writing process to create a story together as a class.
I also like to project the read-aloud books so everyone can see the book clearly.
My students love to display their work on the document camera for their peers to see. It really makes them feel proud of themselves. I will also use the document camera for many years to come with my future students.
