Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school has approximately 600 students and 25 classrooms ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade. Ninety-seven percent of students qualify for free breakfast and lunch assistance. The average salary in their homes is substantially below the national average. My slogan is "Fun in One.” I teach through my slogan.

The nurturing environment they receive in my classroom for 180 days is just as important as the one they receive at home.

We strive to SOAR every day at our school. Help us be better scholars every day.

My Project

The webcam will allow me to Zoom or Google Meet on my desktop Windows computer at school. The webcam will attach to the top of my display monitor and will connect through USB. The webcam will offer me the opportunity to do distance learning if we are required to do it from our school building. The webcam will allow me to teach at my smartboard and show my students virtually. I know we are in challenging times. We set up our rooms and we hope to stay in our rooms but it is unknown for how long.
