This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from a low-income area where they face many challenges and obstacles on a daily basis. This will be their first year in a school setting, some coming from different countries and different cultures! I believe that every single one of my students are capable of so much and I want them to know this!
My Project
Currently we do not have a color printer at our school. I want to get a color printer for my classroom so I can create beautiful colorful morning work bins! I am trying to create a fun learning environment and papers in black and white do not do that! Students will use the papers that are printed off the printer for extended learning projects! My students will also get to use the photo option and I will send home pictures of them after fun classroom activities. I will use the color printer to send home all the pictures I take of them! Their parents and families will love to see what is going on in class and have a hard copy to show them later when they are older!
