This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students continue to work on regulating their emotions. My students are learning strategies to help them identify their feelings and then use the strategies to deescalate big emotions. My students can learn once they achieve this.

My students work hard at making positive choices.

Sometimes their emotions are large and the emotion(s) prevents my students from focusing on their classroom environment. When students master strategies, they can use the strategies to regulate their emotions.

The tools in this project will assist my students so they can regulate their emotions. Once my students find their calm, they are then prepared to learn.
