My Students
As an educator I am humbled with my experience working with the students. I have cried with my students. I have laughed with my students. I have grown with my students! I am so grateful and blessed for the opportunity to serve my community. I thoroughly love and enjoy the work that I do and have learned so much from the students and the community. My hope is that I have made a small imprint on their hearts and their lives. I will always be rooting for these children, even 10-20 years from now, even if it is just from the sidelines.
My Project
Emotional Awareness is a critical part in social emotional development. One must first learn to understand and express what one is feeling and going through before they can help others. The Lego set will be used in conjunction with other worksheets and materials to help students build their feeling vocabulary. The Lego set will also be a great addition to the classroom. Sometimes students are not ready to talk about their day. However, through expressive play and other forms of expression, I can try to understand what students are feeling.
