My Project

These materials will help boost my students expressive, receptive, and social-pragmatic language skills. I work with a large caseload (about 70 students at my school receive speech-language therapy services) including students with a wide variety of needs and interests. My students love it when games, pretend play, and hands-on materials are incorporated into our therapy sessions.

These materials will bring new life into my therapy sessions to increase student engagement and motivation.

I have seen a big change in my students' narrative abilities and their social-emotional skills since the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the way we interact with and talk with other people. I'm seeing an increased need to work on narrative skills and social interactions and new materials would be incredible support!
