My Students

I teach 5th graders that enjoy school and learning. My students are creative thinkers and enjoy working with hands-on projects. They are visual learners for the most part. Students at this age are more self-reliant and enjoy working with partners and at times they like to work alone. They like to make discoveries and share what they have learned with each other in different platforms. My classroom is about learning to build a creative and learning community where all students feel successful.

My Project

As teaching has changed this school year due to Covid-19, my students are working more on-line in the classroom. Unfortunately, I don't have enough headphones for all my students to have their own headphones. If my students have their own headphones they don't need to worry about possibly becoming sick.

If my students have their own headphones they will be able to pay attention to their lessons and not bother their neighbors with what is being said on their computer.

If they are paying attention, they will be learning and therefore growing in their knowledge of math and science.
