My Students

I have a class full of awesome kiddos who are excited about learning. They are self-motivated and goal driven. They have a high ability to use technology in the classroom to further their learning.

Creating a positive, engaging classroom, where each student can be successful, no matter their individual struggles, is the goal in my classroom.

My students are eager to learn and become leaders of their own education. Second grade has a positive culture, where each student is accepted and appreciated.

My Project

One of the things we are working on this year in reading is comprehension. We've found that students are able to read the words, but are struggling with recalling information from the text they just read. The hope is that we can correct this hole in learning before they enter the higher grades.

There are many apps available that will teach concepts in ways that are fun and engaging for young learners.

Technology is a necessary component in today's classroom.

My hope is that these headphones will help my students access these different forms of technology to become fluent readers and work towards their own reading goals.
