This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are learners of all backgrounds and levels. Help us not limit our independent learning by not having enough headphones for each student.
There are times during class when students are performing scientific research or learning at their own pace and encounter information presented through audio.
Without enough headphones, our well-intended shared classroom learning environment of about 25 students per class eventually becomes a place of endless noise and distraction.
On that note, I also believe that students should also receive material and express their learning on paper. This ultimately allows them to focus on what is in front of them and have a tangible record of their progress.
