I Can Go the Distance Learning

My Students

Bright, thoughtful, and hard-working are all words I would use to describe the students in my classroom. I've learned throughout the year that this class is extremely multifaceted.

My students have been extremely strong with distance learning this year.

Not only do they show perseverance by showing up and engaging in learning everyday, but they even draw me pictures and hold it up to the camera when they know I'm having a bad day. This sort of compassion comes from a special group of students.

They've all been the greatest helpers and have taught me so much as an educator thus far.

My Project

The students have had quite the difficult year with 2020. As teachers, it's our job to be strong for them and try to make their learning experience the best it could be with the circumstances they were given. With the camera, I'm able to draw clear pictures to explain concepts. It's much better than using the Zoom whiteboard. Also, I'm looking forward to find a way to explain math concepts visually with the camera. They'll be able to see my physical hand writing the problems, which helps. With the workbooks, I'll be able to differentiate instruction much better since these workbooks seem to have a variety of activities and lessons to choose from. I hope my students can "go the distance" with the support of the new material!
