This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have some tools in my classroom already, but we are lacking some key materials. With some additions, there are many things we can begin to maintain and fix that students use regularly. The Bicycle Repair Bag With Tire Pump, Portable Tool Kit for Camping Travel - Patches, Inflator, Maintenance Essentials All in One Safety Kit and Apollo Tools Mechanics Tool Set, 95-Piece, Gray/Red will cover almost all things we could safely repair.

Being able to fix some smaller items will work very well with our focus of avoiding waste and supporting ourselves as independently as possible.

We work as a class to problem solve and be as self-sufficient as we can. Avoiding waste and expense is an important part of self-sufficiency!
