Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a TK-2nd class with moderate to severe kiddos with Autism. We are working on teaching them to be as independent as they can be. Preparing simple meals in the microwave and learning to reheat food is essential to independence.

By donating to this project you are helping my students gain greater autonomy and independence.

The more that we are able to teach them to do by themselves the better.

For this project, I have requested easy-to-use microwaves as well as microwave-safe dishes. I have also included cake pans to be able to make a sweet treat to share.
