Help me give my students outdoor stepping stones to work on balance, coordination, alphabet and number recognition.

My Students
There are 18 PreK students in my class who represent several different cultures. Five of the students have already been identified as having a special need; however, that does not keep them from interacting with their peers and learning new skills and information.
My students enjoy playing outside, unfortunately, we do not have a lot of outdoor equipment.
They are able to learn literacy and math skills and develop their motor skills at the same time. I strive to provide materials that will enhance all areas of learning for my students.
My Project
My students are 4 and 5 years old so there bodies are still developing. We help students develop academically as well as physically.
Students need to work on body balance and coordination to safely move around outside and in the classroom.
The alphabet and number stepping stones will help students with coordination and balance. They will also have a chance to work on letter and number recognition.
Currently, we have 8 tricycles and 4 of them have broken seats and no grips on the handlebars. We are trying to build a collection of safe and appropriate outdoor equipment.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
