it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My student are loving the technology we use in the classroom, but there is just not enough.
My students are awesome.
Even though my children are not at an economical advantage, they can do a lot with very little. Nonetheless, they are also appreciative when opportunity comes along. Our school is academically ahead of what is expected of them. Sometimes, students that are economically disadvantaged suffer academically. Our school has not suffered academically in this regard.
My Project
Imagine having a technology expert available to incorporate learning into mobile devices. Our new assistant principal possesses this ability. Imagine every student holding the latest learning technology in their hands in a variety of subject. That is what these I pads (with cases) will do. I also have included several necessary accessories. We have other tablet in the classroom, but they are missing chargers and so a charging station with additional chargers will help and make this technology more secure.
I don't want them to feel that because they are missing out on certain things at home, then the same thing has to happen at school.
I want to be able to have all my students using the latest and greatest learning tools. I do not want to confine these tools to small groups only. These I pads will get me closer to that goal.
