My Project
The goal for this project is to provide a learning environment that is conducive and math friendly. Everyone learns differently, and learners should be allowed to represent that learning in their own way. Whether it be jotting their ideas down, drawing them out, or verbally sharing ideas. A listening station will allow for one on one assessments and/or small group reteaches. The headphones will allow students to listen to diagnostic instruction without being distracted. The drawing pad/ adapter will allow the teacher to annotate and underscore important information in the text (word problems). The whiteboard and markers will allow students to work in groups, share ideas, and work on math examples. The Texas Instrument Calculators allow students to explore math concepts with confidence, which allows them to appreciate and connect the power and value of math to their everyday life, as well as the world around them.
