This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Unfortunately, many young girls struggle with mental health issues. This girls' group is designed specifically for them. I teach the girls about self-esteem and how to work through anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. The items I ordered will help the students learn to process their emotions. These girls need to learn how to cope and press forward.

The girls can use these items to learn skills, lessen anxiety, and learn to persist even in the dark times of life.

They will learn to focus on the positive and understand that if given the right tools, they can prosper and obtain high success (emotionally, academically, and socially).
