I Am Enough

Help me give my students a better understanding of the world around them. During "Black History " I want to provide a clear understanding for my students of color and their importance in the world we live in.

My Project

The use of the books that I am requesting for my students are for my library in our classroom. I would like for my students to read and see books in our library of children and adults that look like them. I want to assures my students of color that their importance and worth in the world is immeasurable and will never diminish. Having books with people of color will also show my students self awareness and self-empowerment. These books will help young readers understand the strength and beauty that people of color possess.
