My students come to school already brilliant, caring and with the potential to put all their amazing qualities to work. Sometimes, they come to my classroom and were unhoused the night before, or have plumbing issues or more people in their home than could get a shower. I want them to feel comfortable and being able to care for their bodies is critical to that goal.
Please help me create a hygiene cart for my classroom that will have supplies students may need to feel good at school.
We know that feeling good about ourselves is critical to being able to focus on our learning. I hope the cart will have basic hygiene supplies so my students can feel confident and ready for their day.
