My Project

I receive many requests for hygiene products throughout the school year. Some of these youths go without access to the essentials. Often, these young people are embarrassed to go to school and isolate themselves. Supplying items like soap, feminine products, and deodorant can help improve the health and self-esteem of a young person, giving them the confidence to succeed.

Children’s self-esteem is really affected by comparing themselves or the reaction of their peers.

Just thinking that they are different, being teased, left out, or bullied because of poor basic hygiene leads to a loss in confidence with damaging consequences that affects their learning but also have a long-term emotional impact.

With your help, we can provide the necessities of life, not covered by government assistance programs, that most people take for granted such as laundry soap, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper, and other personal care hygiene products.
