This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very special and deserve to have their needs met; whether it be social emotional needs, academic or wellness needs. My students sometimes struggle with hygiene supplies, and being able to support them in anything feels amazing.

I am working on creating wellness bags for those students in need, including body wash, lotion, oral hygiene supplies and many more goodies for my students.

There are so many opportunities during the school day to make sure my students have all that they need, feel special and know there are supports they can attain while in school. It would be wonderful to show my students they are special and know there are people who care about them.
