This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am looking for donations to help provide 4th and 5th grade students with their own personal hygiene kit. These kits will be assembled for each gender and passed out after going through their first health class! It will help them feel confident and in control of their own bodies and the changes that will soon occur for them. They will leave the oh-so-awkward class with a tangible bag full of personal hygiene items that they can use at school or at home.

With these kits of body wash, deodorant, wipes, pads, and tampons, it will help them grasp the reality of their changing bodies and prepare them for growing up.
