Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A student's hygiene is important for their health, attendance, and confidence in school. Many of our families struggle with housing, food, and financial insecurities. Times are hard for so many of our families. We want to be able to break down barriers to students attending school and accessing learning.

I want to provide personal hygiene kits to students to help maintain their health, mental well-being, and self-esteem.

All of which are greatly impacted when they are experiencing housing and financial insecurities.

These kits will be used in private spaces at school to "freshen up" or sent to their homes for winter break. We greatly appreciate your compassion and support!
