This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This menstrual period station will be a great place for students to know there is a place where they can get hygiene products. Students often have emergencies and simply can't afford these period products. Students in our community do not have the means necessary to purchase multiple hygiene items in order to bring some to school with them. Some students feel uncomfortable when they have a tough PE lesson, a long walk to school, the temperature is way too high or they have sports after school.
By donating to our project you will provide students with a station where they can grab what they need and refresh throughout the day.
Sometimes we are so concentrated in teaching that we forget that students have needs. We need to make our students comfortable so that their minds are cleared and calm and ready to learn.
