Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When students don't have what they need to feel safe and secure, it makes it difficult to learn. Having hygiene products available for my students to address the Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs every single day.

The items in this Hygiene Drawer will be available to all 850 students at any time of day so they are able to have their needs met throughout the day.

In the past, these drawers have been successful in providing students with basic care items that they are able to take home to use as well. I want to be able to create a space within the school where students feel comfortable advocating for their own self care.

Thank you for considering my project. With your help, I will be able to teach my students to take care of themselves in every way.
