My Students
I teach Pre-K, ages 3 to 5 years. All of my students have overcome adversities or live with trauma or a special need. Most of my students live in poverty. I individually try to bond with each family and put my best foot forward to get them the intervention services they need. My students are a blessing to me because each one has a special place in my heart.
I believe these students will achieve their goals in life through education and have bright futures.
I set individual goals for each student. I focus many of my lessons on science and math. These students are very young, and it is up to me to set their educational foundations.
My Project
We are in the process of potty training more then 12 children . Some are ready transition into underwear. The education staff will work together to place new dry underwear will be placed on the student in potty training and send student several times a day to bathroom. We will then send the under ware home to keep practicing at home that they are currently wearing. Many of my students are in need of socks and when they come to school with not socks in tennis shoes I let the student pick which socks they can wear home.
