My students become middle school “tween-agers” when they start 6th grade. During this year, we teach about personal hygiene and healthy living. Many students are not taught the proper way to ensure they are taking care of their personal hygiene needs. I always have a little station in my closet that students can help themselves to during the year. It can get very expensive replacing these items throughout the year, so I’m asking for your support.
My Hygiene Station includes: feminine products, mini deodorants for individual use, spray deodorant for students who forgot to put some on at home, body spray, eyeglass cleaner, eyeglass wipes, face wipes, body wipes, powder, hair ties, edge control, Q-tips, Vaseline, gel, and Band-Aids.
I always get multi-skin toned Band-Aids to make sure all students have bandages that match their own skin tone. This Hygiene Station allows all students to have access to the essentials they need to stay healthy and feel confident!
