Hydroponics Class Project

Help me give my students the opportunity to learn about hydroponics in class.

My Project

I chose materials that the students can observe in class, while also being able to produce food. This is an essential skill that was highlighted by the lack of resources during COVID. My hope is that the students learn the necessary skills to apply what they learned at home. It is a lifelong skill to be able to produce food in a small area setting. We will grow a variety of fruits and vegetables in different hydroponics systems to see what way works best. These kits can be bought or built at home and are a great alternative to planting in the ground, when it may not be available to those who live in an apartment or rent their house.
