My Project

Help us expand the Union High School Hydroponic Garden. We were lucky enough to have a donors choose project funded earlier this year, and have been able to start an extremely successful hydroponic garden in our classroom. Now we would like to expand, so that we can offer produce to more families with food insecurity, and hold an annual "Spring Seedling Sale" to fund the ongoing costs of running the garden.

Students will learn about plant biology, sustainable farming, and eco conscious agriculture as the future of food production.

We have been so fortunate to be able to start this wonderful project. The additional hydroponic equipment would allow us to start a continuous rotation of crops throughout the year and continually provide take home produce for a number of families in the Union High School community.
