This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to incorporate a hydroponic system into our classroom and routines to help teach my students the value of growing their own food. Gardening is a huge passion of mine and I would love nothing more but to help teach my students how to grow their own food.

In addition to incorporating the hydroponic system into our daily classroom routines, students will learn the value of growing their own food.

As the climate crisis becomes an inevitable part of our life, students need to know economically and versatile ways of growing food for their future! Students will learn how hydroponic systems are more climate friendly.
