Hydration Station: Water Bottles

My Project

Our students need to drink water during the school day to create healthy habits and optimize classroom performance. We have water bottle stations throughout the school; however, the majority of our students do not have a container for water. Our water fountains were disabled during COVID.

Hydration gives energy, improves physical functioning, helps prevent headaches, and more!

Giving each student a water bottle to keep at school would allow them to drink water throughout the day. Water bottles will be reusable and create less waste than paper or plastic cups. Water can be chosen during breakfast and lunch only if the student has a container; otherwise, their only option is milk or juice. Milk and juice are great with meals, but during the day, they need to make hydration a habit!
