Hydration is Fundamental

My Project

Students perform better when they are comfortable. Our school services students who are not able to afford essentials such as water to help them endure during instructional hours. Often times the air conditioning system is not functional and students have to deal with discrepancy. Although their education is free it should be ensured that their well being is guaranteed.

The purpose of this project is to provide resources such beverages and a mini refrigerator to facilitate a more comfortable learning environment.

As a result of COVID open access water fountains have been limited. Thus, teachers are ultimately responsible for securing options to meet student needs.

School is in many cases a second home. Teachers become surrogate parents and in many cases spend money out of pocket to make sure that their students have what they need. This project will add to my effort to provide a positive culture and climate.
