Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher in a low-income school district, my high school students are faced with many challenges in and outside of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face in their lives, the students always enter my classroom eager to learn.
On a daily basis, I try to create and execute meaningful, creative, fun, and differentiated student-based activities in my classroom.
Recently, we have been short-handed on some materials that are required to enhance my students' learning on a daily basis. My classroom is always in need of basic materials because we use them on a daily basis.
My students are extremely hard-working and driven to meet all of their goals and dreams in high school mathematics. A lot of them, by building up the confidence of their mathematical skills and abilities. They constantly work on real-world problems that are preparing them for their future careers and aspirations.
My Project
These Gatorade goodies will be used for students to earn for our PBIS school system. Students earn Pioneer Bucks and they can use them at our school store. Our school store has a variety of items and students can choose to spend their Pioneer Bucks on various snacks.
Our high schoolers love earning Pioneer Bucks for being accountable, respectful, and be safe in our school.
Students will love earning all of the wonderful snacks that they have earned while being amazing scholars.
