This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After 10 years coaching our middle school mountain bike team, I have changed roles and am now Team Director. As Team Director, I am responsible for our riders' well being and making sure they have everything they need to be successful! Proper hydration is a huge aspect for mountain bikers and very important to riding and health!

Refillable water bottles are required every time we go for a ride, whether it be for practice, or races.

Our riders usually have two on them at all times!

These water bottles will be used the entire season. They can be filled with hydration drinks or just water. Since plastic, they can be thrown at the pit zone, when we hand off full bottles to our riders during races.

We will be adding school stickers to them, so we will finally have the final matching piece of our kits we have wanted to implement for years!
