Your generosity made it possible for my students to receive brand-new, reliable headphones. These were something my class truly needed. Our old ones were worn out, with peeling ear pads and spotty sound quality. With the headphones my students will be able engage complete their digital lessons without frustration or distraction.\r\n\r\nAlso I am grateful for the donated books. These titles will promote critical thinking, and a deeper love for reading. Many of my students have already shown curiosity about the books and borrowed some. I can't wait to for other students to gain interest in them as well.\r\n\r\nYour support directly impacts my students' learning experiences. You are investing in their future and they appreciate it even when they don't express it.","fullyFundedDate":1757966330092,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-for-focus-books-for-imaginat/9644378/","projectTitle":"Headphones for Focus; Books for Imagination","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fischer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9101265_orig.jpg?crop=2610,2610,x0,y165&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732716601722","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9101265"},{"teacherId":9101265,"projectId":9476171,"letterContent":"I want to sincerely thank you for your generosity in sponsoring my DonorsChoose project. The items you provided have already made such a positive difference in my classroom.\r\n\r\nThe string lights have completely transformed the atmosphere. They give our classroom a warm, welcoming, and home-like feeling that the students notice and appreciate. In fact, they often comment if the lights are off because they enjoy the cozy environment so much. Having the option to dim the overhead lights and still have soft lighting makes our classroom a more comfortable place to learn.\r\n\r\nYour donation of Jolly Ranchers has been an incredible tool for motivation and positive reinforcement. I am able to reward students when they answer questions thoughtfully or demonstrate our school's honor code, and they get so excited for this simple but meaningful recognition.\r\n\r\nThe Febreze Small Spaces fresheners have also made an impact. My students frequently remark that the classroom smells good, especially in the areas closest to the fresheners. This helps create a clean and pleasant space where they can focus and feel at ease.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity. The contributions you made don't just provide supplies they build an environment where my students feel welcome, encouraged, and cared for each day.","fullyFundedDate":1755728882921,"projectUrl":"project/the-littlest-things-make-a-huge-differen/9476171/","projectTitle":"The Littlest Things Make A HUGE Difference","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fischer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9101265_orig.jpg?crop=2610,2610,x0,y165&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732716601722","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9101265"},{"teacherId":9101265,"projectId":9082339,"letterContent":"By donating the games to my classroom, you have given the students to opportunity to do something fun during lunchtime when they come in to get away from the outside world or the inclement weather. \r\n\r\nNot only that, but when my students have free time rather than trying to seek a Chromebook, they will seek out a game. I also use boggle as a opportunity for students to get vocab, practicing and searching for words but more than just words they're looking for context, clues, and using their knowledge to try and create a more expensive vocabulary. \r\n\r\n\r\nI have students asking for turns at games that have been cleaned and making connections and playing against each other. We've had connect four tournaments and Scrabble tournaments during free days and lunch where students get excited and eager to play those games. It has allowed students to connect in ways that they wouldn't have without the games.","fullyFundedDate":1739840934308,"projectUrl":"project/its-all-fun-and-games-until-the-pencils/9082339/","projectTitle":"It's All Fun and Games Until the Pencils Run Out","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fischer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9101265_orig.jpg?crop=2610,2610,x0,y165&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732716601722","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9101265"},{"teacherId":9101265,"projectId":8973474,"letterContent":"Since receiving the books and putting them on my self the students keep asking to start reading them. While my 7th graders already read \"The Hunger Games\" many of my 8th graders want to read it who did not as 7th graders. It is an in demand book and your generous donation of them will keep them seeking to read. As for the \"Catching Fire\" book my 8th graders will be reading that soon and they cannot wait. I've had students, both in 7th and 8th grade, asking to borrow them and to read them. As their teacher this excites me to see their interest in reading increase just with the presence of the book in the classroom. As word spreads to students who are not mine about my classes reading the book I hear that they wish they could be in my classroom to read this. While I cannot lie and say that some of my students might jump at the chance to swap teachers, I always remind them the grass isn't greener and perhaps the odds were in their favor being in my class. \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your donation and supporting the literacy needs of my students.
