Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are first grade students that are eager to learn! They are curious, energetic and thrive on hands-on learning. They are a very diverse class all with individual needs. They are hard workers who deserve the necessities to be successful. I have a variety of learners with and without disabilities. My students need visual supports as well as sensory tools in order to be successful in an inclusion setting.

My classroom is a place where all students can learn.

I plan with students' strengths and weaknesses in mind so that I am meeting their maximum learning potential. My students come from all over the city of Boston and have a wide range of backgrounds. It is my job to give them the education that they deserve and to develop lifelong habits for learning.

My Project

With all the change and uncertainty this school year, we want to give our first graders all the supplies and resources they need to be successful. The first grade cohort consist of English language learners, inclusion students and high need and his risk students. Having an organized structured classroom with be beneficial for all students when they return to school. Students thrive off structure and routine and n important part of structure and routine is organization's.

Having a place for all students materials is essential for student health this school year.

These paper trays will allow students to keep all their materials they need for the day in once place. It will help eliminate germs and cross contamination. These paper trays will allow more space in the classroom so we can safely distance and continue to learn. It will be easier to clean and help run a smooth and efficient class room. Student safety in our number one and we would love to give our students what they need to come back to school!
