Help me give my students a monitor that will assist me in teaching hybrid leaning, both online and in person at the same time. The HDMI cord will help to connect the monitor to me computer.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is nestled in the heart of Phoenix, Az. I teach a variety of students in a self contained classroom, some who come from low income families. With all the changes that we have had to make with the pandemic, my students a doing well and still making academic growth.
At the moment I am teaching a hybrid method, with some of my students in person and some attending my class virtually from their homes.
Everyday they come to class excited to learn and ready to go.
My Project
My students have been getting frustrated as I have been teaching both in person and online at the same time. When I present the work so my students in class and online can see, I am no longer able to see my virtual students. I do not know if they are raising their hand, following along, or needed extra assistance with their work. An extra monitor would let me be able to see my students at all times while they are in my online classroom. I will be able to more readily see when they need help as well as provide them with help on their assignments quicker.
