Hardworking. Dedicated. Adaptable. Ambitious. Eager. Resourceful. Responsible. Persistent. Diligent. Adventurous. Collaborative. Creative. These are all words that I would use to describe my students.
I teach 175 of the most captivating, diverse students you can possibly imagine, students of all levels, from special needs to gifted and talented, with a myriad of ethnic and financial backgrounds.
These young people spark a Marie Kondo level of joy in my life that I just cannot explain with simple words. I want nothing more than to teach them the most engaging Texas history lessons possible with the resources that they deserve.
My Project
The 2020-2021 school year is going to be one for the history books. Right now, many districts, including my own, are working on plans for what that is going to look like.
At my school, a majority of our students will be doing a hybrid model of learning where they attend classes on campus 2-3 days a week and also do distance learning 2-3 days per week.
In the time that we have at school on campus, it will also be important that we are able to utilize some of the tools that students will use at home so that they are able to do their distance learning assignments with confidence. At my school, we do not have dedicated chromebooks for our classrooms. This chromebook with help ensure that students are able to log into accounts, access information, research, complete assignments, and so much more.
