it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our ski club is in desperate need of helmets for our students! We had a donor promise us 18 helmets to be delivered before the start of our season, and that person has stopped receiving our calls and emails. Our first Ski Club trip is one week away and we don't have enough helmets for each person in the Ski Club! How do we decide who gets to wear a helmet and who doesn't?! That's not a decision I want to have to make. Please help us get helmets so that everyone will have one to use for the entire ski club season.

Helmets are the hardest to come by due to their cost. Your donation helps ensure the safety of our kids!
Many of our students have moved to the United States from Latin American or African countries and never experienced snow. Our school provides students with the opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard through multiple Ski Club trips throughout the winter, taking the kids out of the city and into the mountains. Our Ski Club aims to bring these new opportunities to our students at no cost to them and help bring diversity to snow sports.
