My students need paper because my school lost all of our supplies in Hurricane Harvey.

My students are the definition of resilience and Houston Strong. Due to Hurricane Harvey many of my students lost everything they had in a matter of hours. Even though my students may have lost everything during Hurricane Harvey, Harvey was not able to take away their willingness to learn and achieve academic success in the classroom.
The majority of my students are At-Risk and, Economically Disadvantaged youth yet these labels do not stop my students from chasing and achieving their goals.
Many of my students come from single parent homes and will be the first in their family to receive high school diploma. The students within my classroom can be productive and successful citizens of the United States with a little help and guidance.
My students are smart, intuitive, and very eager to learn in a variety of ways. Our middle school is composed of students with a thirst for learning and eagerness to become productive citizens.
These materials will make a difference in the level of instruction my students are receiving. Students will use the materials to make graphic organizers, write essays, and create resourceful tools that aid in the instruction of science. This paper will be used to make tests to measure the success of our students in mastering the subject of science. This material will allow teachers to vary the instruction given in the science department. Paper is a vital access to the functionality and success of our students here at FBMS. We are trying to raise the level of rigor at our school.
