Hungry to Learn

Help me give my students my students some snacks, candy, and drinks to fuel their bodies and prepare them for learning.

My Project

We all know that when we get hungry it is difficult to do much of anything, much less concentrate and be productive with work. This is the same thing for our students. Given the unfortunate circumstances of many of our students and the additional responsibilities of taking young children or siblings to school or daycare, working a full-time job, and/or traveling miles outside of their neighborhood just to get to school, many students are not able to sit and enjoy a meal. Please help me give my students some snacks, candy, and drinks to keep their brains and bodies fueled and energized throughout the day so they can continue to focus on completing their classwork.
