My Project
It's challenging enough to get young minds today to think and be creative or engaged in education, it's impossible to do when they are hungry because they haven't eaten all day. Many of my students don't bring food from home and won't eat breakfast either.
Giving students a simple snack each day helps them feel cared for and nurtures their social emotional needs to be successful.
I wish we could feed students a proper meal each day but this is the next best thing. A little treat can go a long way.
